This photo was taken of me at the High Museum of Art, inside of the Monet Water Lillies Exhibition. This was the only exhibit at the museum in which cell phones were allowed to be used. So, I had to partake in the pictorial ritual.
The second painting is one of Claude Monet's largest paintings ranging approximately 42 feet wide, triptych entitled "Refelections of the clouds on the Water Lilly Pond."

GALLERY GRAND OPENING November 20, 2008
Featured are many guests that attended the grand opening reception for G.A. Ltd. The event was wonderful as established and emerging artist came together under one roof to exhibit our works. Guest enjoyed smooth jazz, sampled fruits, cheeses, and wine yet remained intrigued by great artwork. The night was a first for some art lovers, but from all of the comments it won't be the last for many.

ART & WINE ON THE RIVER
November 11, 2004
This was a spectacular night, filled with fun and friends. This show was held at my home in New Orleans. Local collectors acquired eight pieces and additionally six new paintings were commissioned.
Guests were invited to sample fine hors d'oeuvres, merlot and chardonnay wines, have their caricature drawn, view my latest art works while a string quartet played jazz.
What a night!
Sadly...this was the last show held at my home before Hurricane Katrina ravaged the city of New Orleans.

ALL ABOUT CHLOE
Chloe is a 1+ year old Pekingnese who came to our family via our friends at Atlanta Pet Rescue after we lost Jake. Chloe is a very sweet girl and loves to snuggle and eat doggie treats. (Photo 1)
She also loves to play with her toys and seems to suffer from "IT'S MINE" syndrome. We all have quickly learned this the hard way as Chloe will nip at your hand if you approach her new toy once she has started to play. (Photo 2)
(Photo 3) In Loving Memory...
Jake passed away on September 21, 2008 after being struck by a car. Our hearts are heavy and our tears are many as we will miss you!

JUNETEETH FESTIVAL 2005 Sponsored by Six Flags New Orleans
This event was held on June 19th.
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.
I was invited to host a booth to sell my art work at Six Flags. The day was fun, hot and full of stories. Pictured are fest-goers and some of the Orleans Parish Prisoners who joined in to dance as New Orleans musician Kermit Ruffins played the trumpet.
GEORGIA O'KEEFE EXHIBITION
My husband surprised me by taking me to Jackson, Mississippi to see a Georgia O'Keefe exhibit. I absolutely love, love her work and this was the closest exhibit in the southern region. So, we had to go. This photo was snapped of me next to the exhibit marquee and right before the museums' guard walked over to ask us to put away the camera. That was a close one.
